Happy Holidays from the Team at Acclivity Healthcare! This time of year is great to take a breath, enjoy family and friends, and appreciate all that we have. This is also a great time to take stock of our current professional situation and consider what changes or improvements we will strive to accomplish next year. Many of us have heard the quote: “If you don’t know where you are going, you’re never going to get there!”. While simple, this idea is very true. So whether you hit all of your goals in 2015, or fell short in some areas, it’s time to start thinking about 2016! In this issue of the Acclivity Health Report, our first article, Are You Running to a New Job – Or from Your Current One?, reminds job seekers to stop and contemplate the reason for their decision prior to making a job change. Our second article, Checking References: Back to the Basics, is a reminder to hiring managers about the importance and basic rules of reference checks.
